Up Close....Heceta Head Lighthouse. Perched 150 feet above the sea, Heceta Head Lighthouse is one of the most-visited lighthouses in the United States. Also included the former Assistant Lightkeeper's home, now a charming bed and breakfast, is nestled on the hillside overlooking the beach. And Captures of Cape Creek Bridge, built in 1932, a mostly decorative crossing since the river was only knee-deep and didn’t see much traffic at the time. One of My Favorite Areas on the Oregon Coast... Many Visions of Surf!! Heceta Head Named for its crowning feature, the iconic Heceta Head Lighthouse, this park also features an historic bed and breakfast, a sheltered beach that's easy to access from the parking lot, and a challenging and scenic hike along a section of the Oregon Coast Trail.
Neat place - so much to see around there.
