Waverly Park..

  Driving Around and Exploring We Found a Nice Little Park in Albany,  Oregon   We Decided to Stop and Check it out Nice Little Park to Take a Break,  Has Walking Paths and  Picnic Tables and Benches to Kick Back and Relaxe  There is an easy paved trail that loops around the 5 -cre lake, and this trail provides a wonderful way to get some exercise and enjoy the beauty of Waverly Lake. Waverly Lake is a small artificial lake located in Albany, Oregon. Before 1939, this area was a gravel pit, but after its abandonment the pit filled with water, and thus Waverly Lake was created Perhaps the most recognizable thing about Waverly is the huge floating duck anchored in the middle of the lake  For bird lovers, lots of actual ducks and geese can be found here as well And of Course Jovi and to Try Out the Pond Himself

Salt Creek Falls ...

Salt Creek Falls is Oregon's second highest single drop waterfall, cascading 286 feet (87m) The observation platform at the top of the waterfall is 50 yards (45.720 m) from the parking lo t The platform is wheelchair accessible with railings that accommodate wheelchair sight-lines  A steep trail from the platform to the waterfall's base is short, but is not wheelchair accessible due to numerous stairs. A loop gravel trail (Salt Creek Falls Trail #3673) with interpretive signage offers a short hike with multiple vantage points along the canyon rim. Salt Creek Falls Observation Site is normally closed in winter. To access the viewpoint, you can park at the  Salt Creek Sno-Park  and walk 0.4 miles along the road to the falls. The Eugene Water and Electric Board harnessed the power of the McKenzie River by building the Leaburg Power Plant. First, they dammed the river and created the 40-acre Leaburg lake which is still popular for boating and fishing. Dee Wright Observatory Old Mckenzie Highway Oregon

McKenzie Highway (242) and you will find the unusual and historic Dee Wright Observatory settled atop vast, black lava flows. Located in the Cascade Range at 5,187 feet, this mountain observatory offers panoramic views across 65 square miles of black lava rock that looks so much like a moonscape  Completed in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), the observatory was named in memory of Dee Wright, the crew’s foreman who passed away the year before. As you make your way up to the observatory, you will find interpretive panels with accounts of early travelers and area geology. Continue up the stairs to the roof and you will discover a bronze peak finder with the names and elevations of the surrounding buttes and mountain peaks. Inside the observatory, openings frame the surrounding mountain peaks.
